Description

A delicious and easy-to-make snack, the Air Fryer Pepperoni Roll combines savory pepperoni and melted cheese wrapped in a soft, golden crust. Perfect for a quick meal or party appetizer, this recipe is made in the air fryer for a crispy, mouthwatering result without deep frying.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough

  • 30 slices pepperoni

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • Marinara sauce (for dipping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a flat surface, and press it into a rectangle.

  3. Lay the pepperoni slices evenly across the dough, leaving a small border at the edges. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the pepperoni.

  4. Carefully roll the dough into a tight log, folding in the edges to seal the roll.

  5. Brush the outside of the roll with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic powder if desired.

  6. Place the roll in the air fryer basket, seam side down.

  7. Cook at 375°F for about 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is golden and crispy.

  8. Remove from the air fryer, slice into individual rolls, and serve with marinara sauce for dipping if desired.

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of pepperoni and cheese based on your preference.

  • For a spicy kick, try adding a few red pepper flakes or jalapeños inside the roll.

  • Make sure to not overstuff the roll to ensure it cooks evenly.

  • If you don’t have olive oil, you can use melted butter instead.
