Description
A delicious and easy-to-make snack, the Air Fryer Pepperoni Roll combines savory pepperoni and melted cheese wrapped in a soft, golden crust. Perfect for a quick meal or party appetizer, this recipe is made in the air fryer for a crispy, mouthwatering result without deep frying.
Ingredients
-
1 can refrigerated pizza dough
-
30 slices pepperoni
-
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
-
1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
-
1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
-
Marinara sauce (for dipping, optional)
Instructions
-
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
-
Roll out the pizza dough on a flat surface, and press it into a rectangle.
-
Lay the pepperoni slices evenly across the dough, leaving a small border at the edges. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the pepperoni.
-
Carefully roll the dough into a tight log, folding in the edges to seal the roll.
-
Brush the outside of the roll with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic powder if desired.
-
Place the roll in the air fryer basket, seam side down.
-
Cook at 375°F for about 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is golden and crispy.
-
Remove from the air fryer, slice into individual rolls, and serve with marinara sauce for dipping if desired.
Notes
-
You can adjust the amount of pepperoni and cheese based on your preference.
-
For a spicy kick, try adding a few red pepper flakes or jalapeños inside the roll.
-
Make sure to not overstuff the roll to ensure it cooks evenly.
-
If you don’t have olive oil, you can use melted butter instead.
