Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
- Prepare the Banana Mixture: In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Stir in the melted butter. Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Add Dry Ingredients: Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture. Stir in the flour and cinnamon (if using) until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Optional Add-Ins: Fold in nuts or chocolate chips gently, if desired.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 55–65 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
