Description

This Basil Garlic Aioli is a rich and creamy condiment packed with the fresh taste of basil and a punch of garlic. Perfect as a dip for fries and veggies, a spread for sandwiches and burgers, or a drizzle over grilled meats and seafood.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, finely chopped or blended

  • 1-2 garlic cloves, minced or grated (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Mix Everything Together:
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, chopped basil, garlic, and lemon juice. Stir until well blended and smooth.

  • Season to Taste:
Add a pinch of salt and pepper, then taste and adjust as needed.

  • Chill:
For best flavor, cover and refrigerate for 15–30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.

  • Serve & Enjoy:
Use as a dip, sandwich spread, or topping for grilled meats, roasted veggies, or seafood.

Notes

  • For extra smooth texture, pulse everything in a small food processor or blender.

  • Want it lighter? Swap half the mayo for plain Greek yogurt.

  • Add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy twist.
