Description

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced (about 2 tablespoons)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 12 Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 small jalapeño, seeds removed and finely chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.
  • Add lime juice and salt, then mash with a fork or potato masher until you reach your desired consistency (chunky or smooth).
  • Stir in cumin and garlic powder if using.
  • Fold in the red onion, tomatoes, cilantro, and jalapeño.
  • Taste and adjust with more lime juice or salt, if needed.
  • Serve immediately, or cover with plastic wrap pressed directly onto the surface to prevent browning and refrigerate until ready to serve.
