Description

Big Mac Cheeseburger Bombs are a delicious combination of juicy seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, pickles, and the classic Big Mac sauce all wrapped in soft, fluffy dough. Perfect for parties, game day, or a fun dinner, these savory little bites pack all the flavor of a Big Mac in a handheld, cheesy bomb!

Ingredients

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tablespoon ketchup

  • 1 tablespoon mustard

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup pickles, finely chopped (or use dill pickle chips)

For the Dough:

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (or pizza dough if you prefer)

For the Big Mac Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • Pinch of salt and pepper

For Topping:

  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Big Mac Sauce:

  1. Make the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, white vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth. Set aside.

Make the Cheeseburger Filling:

  1. Cook the beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through (about 6-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if needed.

  2. Add seasoning: Stir in the finely chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes, until everything is well mixed and heated through.

  3. Add cheese and pickles: Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until melted and combined. Add the chopped pickles and mix well. Let the filling cool for a few minutes.

Assemble the Bombs:

  1. Prepare the dough: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. Form the bombs: Open the biscuit dough and separate each biscuit. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands and spoon a small amount of the cheeseburger filling in the center. Carefully fold the dough around the filling and pinch the edges to seal. Place each dough ball seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.

  3. Brush with butter: Once all the bombs are assembled, brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds (if using) for that classic Big Mac look.

Bake the Bombs:

  1. Bake: Place the dish in the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.

Serve:

  1. Serve hot: Remove the bombs from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Drizzle with the Big Mac sauce and serve as an appetizer or fun dinner!

Notes

  • You can use ground turkey or chicken as a leaner alternative to ground beef.

  • For extra flavor, you can add sautéed mushrooms or bacon bits to the filling.

  • Serve with extra Big Mac sauce for dipping or drizzle it on top!
