1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
-
1 tablespoon ketchup
-
1 tablespoon mustard
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
-
1/2 cup pickles, finely chopped (or use dill pickle chips)
For the Dough:
-
1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (or pizza dough if you prefer)
For the Big Mac Sauce:
-
1/4 cup mayonnaise
-
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
-
2 tablespoons ketchup
-
1 tablespoon white vinegar
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon onion powder
-
1/2 teaspoon paprika
-
Pinch of salt and pepper
For Topping:
-
1 tablespoon butter, melted
-
Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the Big Mac Sauce:
-
Make the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, white vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth. Set aside.
Make the Cheeseburger Filling:
-
Cook the beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through (about 6-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if needed.
-
Add seasoning: Stir in the finely chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes, until everything is well mixed and heated through.
-
Add cheese and pickles: Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until melted and combined. Add the chopped pickles and mix well. Let the filling cool for a few minutes.
Assemble the Bombs:
-
Prepare the dough: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
-
Form the bombs: Open the biscuit dough and separate each biscuit. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands and spoon a small amount of the cheeseburger filling in the center. Carefully fold the dough around the filling and pinch the edges to seal. Place each dough ball seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
-
Brush with butter: Once all the bombs are assembled, brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds (if using) for that classic Big Mac look.
Bake the Bombs:
-
Bake: Place the dish in the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
Serve:
-
Serve hot: Remove the bombs from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Drizzle with the Big Mac sauce and serve as an appetizer or fun dinner!
Notes
-
You can use ground turkey or chicken as a leaner alternative to ground beef.
-
For extra flavor, you can add sautéed mushrooms or bacon bits to the filling.
-
Serve with extra Big Mac sauce for dipping or drizzle it on top!
