- 2 cups elbow macaroni or pasta of choice
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups cooked, diced chicken breast
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional for extra creaminess)
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Add broccoli during the last 2–3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes until golden and bubbling.
- Slowly whisk in milk and cream, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in cheddar and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Stir in cooked pasta, broccoli, and diced chicken. Mix well until everything is evenly coated in the sauce.
- Serve immediately, or transfer to a baking dish, top with extra cheese, and broil for 2–3 minutes for a golden top.

- Use rotisserie chicken for quick prep.
- Substitute whole milk or non-dairy milk based on preference.
- Add breadcrumbs on top before broiling for a crunchy topping.
