Description

These Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites are everything you love about warm, gooey cinnamon rolls and classic French toast – rolled into bite-sized pieces that are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or snacking. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and finished with a drizzle of glaze!

Ingredients

For the Bites:

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing included)

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon butter (for frying)

Optional Cinnamon Sugar Coating:

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  • Open the can of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters (you’ll get about 32 bite-sized pieces).

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.

  • Dip each cinnamon roll piece into the egg mixture, coating well but not soaking too long.

  • Heat butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.

  • Add the dipped cinnamon roll pieces and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. You may need to do this in batches.

  • Optional: Toss the warm bites in a mix of cinnamon sugar and melted butter for extra flavor.

  • Warm the icing that came with the cinnamon rolls in the microwave for 10–15 seconds, then drizzle over the bites before serving.

Notes

  • Great with maple syrup or cream cheese icing for dipping.

  • Make it extra indulgent by adding a powdered sugar dusting or caramel drizzle.

  • Best served warm, but leftovers can be reheated in the microwave or air fryer.
