Description

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon salt

Filling:

  • 2/3 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

Icing:

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Dough Preparation: Combine warm milk and yeast in a large bowl. Add sugar, eggs, melted butter, flour, and salt. Knead until smooth, then let rise until doubled.
  2. Rolling and Filling: Roll out dough, spread with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, roll up, and cut into rolls. Place in a baking dish and let rise again.
  3. Baking: Bake at 350°F for 22–25 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Icing: Mix cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth. Spread over warm rolls.

Notes

  • For overnight rolls, refrigerate after the second rise and let sit at room temperature before baking.
