Description
This Cinnamon Sugar Pizza is a fun and delicious dessert made with a buttery crust, a generous sprinkle of cinnamon sugar, and a sweet vanilla glaze. It’s like a giant snickerdoodle in pizza form — perfect for dessert nights, parties, or a sweet snack!
Ingredients
For the Pizza:
-
1 prepared pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
-
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
-
1/4 cup granulated sugar
-
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
For the Glaze:
-
1/2 cup powdered sugar
-
1-2 tablespoons milk
-
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
-
Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to about a 12-inch circle. Transfer to a pizza pan or baking sheet.
-
Brush the entire surface of the dough with melted butter.
-
In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle it evenly over the buttered dough.
-
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and cooked through.
-
While the pizza bakes, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth to make the glaze.
-
Once the pizza is out of the oven, let it cool slightly, then drizzle the glaze over the top.
-
Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
-
Add a cream cheese drizzle instead of vanilla glaze for a tangy twist.
-
For extra crunch, sprinkle on some crushed nuts or streusel before baking.
-
Best enjoyed the same day, but leftovers can be stored at room temp in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
