Description

Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna is a delicious and hassle-free twist on traditional lasagna, made by layering frozen ravioli, meat sauce, and cheese in a slow cooker for an easy weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara or pasta sauce
  • 1 bag (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain fat and season with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Add marinara sauce to the skillet and stir to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Spray the inside of a crockpot with nonstick cooking spray.
  4. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
  5. Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
  6. Top with half of the remaining meat sauce and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
  7. Repeat with remaining ravioli, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours, until heated through and bubbly.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • No need to thaw the ravioli before adding to the crockpot.
  • Use ground turkey or sausage as an alternative to beef.
  • Add a layer of spinach or ricotta for extra flavor and texture.
