Description

This easy Buldak ramen recipe delivers bold, spicy Korean flavors in a quick and satisfying noodle dish inspired by the popular fire chicken instant noodles.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pack Buldak (spicy Korean) instant ramen
  • 1/2 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded or chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1 boiled egg, halved (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Buldak ramen noodles according to package instructions, usually boiling for 3–4 minutes.
  2. Drain most of the water, leaving about 2 tablespoons in the pot.
  3. Add the sauce packet and mix well over low heat for about 1 minute.
  4. Stir in sesame oil and cooked chicken, mixing until heated through.
  5. Transfer to a bowl and top with green onion, sesame seeds, and a boiled egg if using.
  6. Optional: Add mozzarella cheese on top and microwave for 30 seconds until melted.

Notes

  • Adjust spice by using only part of the sauce packet.
  • Use rotisserie or leftover chicken for convenience.
  • Top with kimchi or pickled radish for added flavor.
  • For extra richness, crack a raw egg into the hot noodles and stir.
