Description

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Stir in the brown sugar and cook, stirring constantly, for 2–3 minutes until the mixture is smooth and bubbling.
  3. Carefully stir in the heavy cream and continue to cook for another 3–4 minutes, until thickened slightly.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
