Description

This easy chicken noodle casserole is a creamy, comforting dish packed with tender chicken, noodles, and a rich sauce, perfect for a cozy family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked egg noodles
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots, thawed
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir in the cooked noodles, shredded chicken, peas and carrots, and cheddar cheese until well mixed.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. In a small bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter and sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
