Description

These Easy Chicken Taco Pinwheels are the perfect make-ahead appetizer or quick snack! Made with shredded chicken, cream cheese, taco seasoning, and fresh veggies, all wrapped in soft tortillas, they’re packed with flavor and take just minutes to prep. Great for game days, lunchboxes, or party platters!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1 packet taco seasoning (about 2 tablespoons)

  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper

  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

 

  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch size)


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning until smooth.

  2. Stir in the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, red bell pepper, green onions, and cilantro (if using).

  3. Lay out the tortillas on a clean surface.

  4. Spread the chicken mixture evenly over each tortilla.

  5. Roll each tortilla up tightly, then wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  6. Once chilled, slice into 1-inch pinwheels using a sharp knife.

  7. Serve chilled or at room temperature.


Notes

  • You can use rotisserie chicken to save time.

  • For extra heat, add chopped jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce.

 

  • These can be made a day in advance and stored in the fridge.
