For the Meatballs:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Sauce:
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Prepare the Meatballs: In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, salt, and pepper. Shape into meatballs.
- Cook the Meatballs: In a skillet, brown the meatballs on all sides until cooked through.
- Make the Sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together the ketchup, honey, soy sauce, sriracha, and garlic.
- Cook the Sauce: Pour the sauce over the cooked meatballs and simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the meatballs.
- Serve: Serve the sweet and spicy meatballs hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
- You can adjust the level of spiciness by increasing or decreasing the amount of sriracha in the sauce.
