Description

These Easy Sweet & Spicy Meatballs are a perfect appetizer or main dish that combines the flavors of sweet and spicy in a delicious way. Juicy meatballs coated in a sticky, flavorful sauce that will have everyone coming back for more!


Ingredients

For the Meatballs:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Meatballs: In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, salt, and pepper. Shape into meatballs.
  2. Cook the Meatballs: In a skillet, brown the meatballs on all sides until cooked through.
  3. Make the Sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together the ketchup, honey, soy sauce, sriracha, and garlic.
  4. Cook the Sauce: Pour the sauce over the cooked meatballs and simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the meatballs.
  5. Serve: Serve the sweet and spicy meatballs hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • You can adjust the level of spiciness by increasing or decreasing the amount of sriracha in the sauce.
