Description

These Fabulous Five Ingredient Raspberry Bars are the perfect combination of sweet, tart, and buttery. With just five simple ingredients, you can make a delicious dessert that’s quick, easy, and perfect for any occasion. The raspberry filling adds a pop of fruity flavor, and the buttery crust is irresistibly delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)

  • 1 cup raspberry jam or preserves

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal.

  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, and melted butter. Stir until the mixture becomes a crumbly dough.

  3. Press about 2/3 of the dough mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the base.

  4. Spread the raspberry jam evenly over the dough, covering it completely.

  5. Sprinkle the remaining dough mixture on top of the jam layer, followed by the rolled oats.

  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the bars are golden brown and the jam is bubbling.

  7. Remove from the oven and allow the bars to cool in the dish before slicing into squares.

Notes

  • You can use any type of fruit jam or preserves, such as strawberry, blueberry, or apricot, for a different flavor.

  • For a slightly crunchy topping, press the oats lightly into the dough before baking.

  • These bars can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerated for up to a week.
