Description

This Garlic Butter Chicken is tender, juicy, and cooked in a rich, flavorful garlic butter sauce—all in one pan! It’s quick to make, super satisfying, and perfect for pairing with rice, pasta, or veggies. A cozy, crowd-pleasing dinner that’s ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 5-6 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Add chicken and cook 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt the butter.

  • Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, stirring often so it doesn’t burn.

  • Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes to reduce slightly.

  • Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top, and let everything simmer together for 2 more minutes.

  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • For extra richness, add a splash of heavy cream to the sauce.

  • Want a little kick? Add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic.

  • Pairs perfectly with mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread.
