Description

This Garlic Parmesan Baked Shrimp recipe is a quick and easy weeknight dinner or appetizer. Juicy shrimp are coated in a buttery garlic-Parmesan topping and baked until golden and flavorful. It comes together in less than 30 minutes and pairs well with pasta, salad, or crusty bread.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

  • Lemon wedges, for serving


Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.

  • Place the shrimp in a single layer in a baking dish.

  • Pour the garlic butter mixture over the shrimp, tossing gently to coat.

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink, opaque, and cooked through.

  • Broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden top, if desired.

 

  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

  • Use fresh or thawed shrimp—avoid baking from frozen for best results.

  • Add breadcrumbs for a crunchier topping.
