Ingredients
For the Filling:
-
1 pound ground beef
-
1/2 teaspoon salt
-
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
-
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 tablespoon ketchup
-
1 tablespoon mustard
-
1 small onion, finely diced (optional)
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or small cubes of cheddar
For the Dough:
-
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
For the Garlic Parmesan Butter:
-
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
-
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef, onion (if using), salt, pepper, and garlic powder until browned. Drain excess grease.
-
Stir in ketchup and mustard, and let the mixture cool slightly.
-
Flatten each biscuit round into a 4-inch circle. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of beef mixture into the center and top with a bit of cheese.
-
Fold the edges of the dough up and around the filling, pinching to seal. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
-
Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown.
-
While baking, mix melted butter, garlic powder, Parmesan, and parsley.
-
Once the bombs are out of the oven, brush them generously with the garlic Parmesan butter.
-
Serve warm with ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce for dipping.
Notes
-
Try adding pickles, bacon bits, or jalapeños inside for extra flavor.
-
Swap cheddar for mozzarella or pepper jack for a cheesy twist.
-
Great as appetizers, lunchbox items, or freezer-friendly snacks.
