- 2 slices of sourdough or rustic bread
- 2 oz goat cheese, softened
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp butter, for grilling
Instructions
- Spread the softened goat cheese evenly on one side of each bread slice.
- Drizzle honey over the goat cheese and sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
- Assemble the sandwich by placing the slices together, cheese sides in.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
- Place the sandwich in the skillet and grill until golden brown on one side, about 2-3 minutes.
- Flip and grill the other side until golden and the cheese is warmed through, another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
