Description

The Honey Mustard Turkey Avocado Sandwich is a deliciously fresh and satisfying sandwich layered with sliced turkey, creamy avocado, crisp lettuce, and tangy honey mustard on your choice of bread.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices whole grain or sourdough bread
  • 6 oz sliced deli turkey breast
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 2 tbsp honey mustard
  • 2 slices provolone or Swiss cheese (optional)
  • 4 leaves romaine or green leaf lettuce
  • 4 slices tomato
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter or mayonnaise (optional, for toasting)

Instructions

  1. If desired, lightly toast the bread or spread with butter and grill until golden.
  2. Spread honey mustard evenly on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Layer turkey, cheese (if using), avocado slices, tomato, and lettuce on two of the bread slices. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Top with the remaining bread slices, honey mustard side down.
  5. Slice in half and serve immediately. Optional: Secure with sandwich picks for easier handling.
