Description

Hot Honey Cream Cheese Dip is the perfect combo of creamy, sweet, and spicy. Made with warm cream cheese and topped with sticky hot honey, this easy dip is a total crowd-pleaser. Serve it with crackers, crostini, or pretzels—it’s a quick appetizer that always disappears fast!

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened

  • 2 tablespoons sour cream (optional for extra creaminess)

  • 1/4 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)

  • Crackers, toasted baguette slices, or pretzels, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Prep the Cream Cheese: Place the cream cheese in a small baking dish. Mix in sour cream if using, and smooth out the top.

  • Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until warm and slightly golden around the edges.

  • Top with Hot Honey: Remove from oven and drizzle generously with hot honey. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes for a little extra kick, if desired.

  • Serve: Serve warm with crackers, crostini, or pretzels.

Notes

  • To make homemade hot honey: warm 1/4 cup honey with 1–2 teaspoons hot sauce or a pinch of chili flakes. Let it infuse for 5 minutes, then drizzle.

  • Add a handful of chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts on top for extra texture.

  • This dip also works great as a spread for bagels or toast the next day!
