Description

Italian Pinwheels are bite-sized, flavorful appetizers made with deli meats, cheese, and veggies rolled up in a soft tortilla and sliced into perfect party-ready spirals. Great for entertaining or an easy lunch option.


Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas (or spinach/herb wraps)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp Italian dressing
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 8 slices deli ham
  • 8 slices salami
  • 8 slices pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup fresh spinach or arugula
  • 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix softened cream cheese with Italian dressing and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  2. Lay out tortillas and spread a thin, even layer of the cream cheese mixture over each.
  3. Layer with provolone cheese, deli meats, roasted red peppers, and spinach.
  4. Tightly roll up each tortilla into a log. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  5. Remove from fridge and slice into 1-inch pinwheels. Arrange on a platter and serve.

Notes

  • Use toothpicks to secure if needed for serving.
  • Can be made a day ahead and stored in the fridge.
  • Try banana peppers or sliced olives for variation.
