Instructions

Make the Cookies:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
