Description

Margarita Grilled Shrimp Skewers are a flavorful and vibrant seafood dish, marinated in a zesty margarita-inspired mixture and grilled to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup tequila
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together tequila, lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, garlic, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers.
  5. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
  6. Remove from grill, sprinkle with chopped cilantro, and serve with lime wedges.
