- 1/4 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
- Lime wedges, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together tequila, lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, garlic, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers.
- Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
- Remove from grill, sprinkle with chopped cilantro, and serve with lime wedges.
Notes
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
