Description

Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter

For the Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

For Serving:

  • 12 oz. cooked pasta of your choice

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear until golden brown on both sides. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  2. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Add sun-dried tomatoes and return the chicken to the skillet. Simmer until chicken is cooked through and sauce has thickened.
  4. Serve: Serve the chicken and sauce over cooked pasta. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and additional Parmesan, if desired.
