- 1 tablespoon butter
For the Sauce:
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
For Serving:
- 12 oz. cooked pasta of your choice
Instructions
- Cook the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear until golden brown on both sides. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Combine Ingredients: Add sun-dried tomatoes and return the chicken to the skillet. Simmer until chicken is cooked through and sauce has thickened.
- Serve: Serve the chicken and sauce over cooked pasta. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and additional Parmesan, if desired.
