Description

Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole is a rich, cheesy baked dish made with layers of ravioli, seasoned ground beef, marinara sauce, and a creamy cheese mixture. It’s an easy, crowd-pleasing comfort food perfect for busy weeknights or potlucks.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara or pasta sauce
  • 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together ricotta, cream cheese, sour cream, and half of the mozzarella.
  5. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.
  6. Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce. Spread half of the cheese mixture over the ravioli, then top with half of the remaining meat sauce.
  7. Repeat layers: ravioli, cheese mixture, and remaining meat sauce.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and the Parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
  10. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley or basil if desired.

Notes

  • You can use beef or sausage ravioli for extra flavor.
  • Assemble ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to bake.
  • Pairs well with garlic bread and a green salad.
