Ingredients
For the Shrimp:

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on)
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
-
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1/4 teaspoon paprika
-
1/4 teaspoon salt
-
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
-
Lemon wedges, for serving
For the Cocktail Sauce:
-
1/2 cup ketchup
-
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish (or more for extra heat)
-
1 tablespoon lemon juice
-
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
-
Dash of hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
-
Prepare the Shrimp:
-
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
-
In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
-
Spread the seasoned shrimp in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
-
Roast the shrimp in the preheated oven for 6-8 minutes, or until they are pink, opaque, and cooked through (be careful not to overcook them).
-
-
Make the Cocktail Sauce:
-
While the shrimp are roasting, combine the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce (if using) in a small bowl. Stir well to combine.
-
Taste and adjust the seasoning by adding more horseradish or hot sauce, depending on your preference.
-
-
Serve:
-
Once the shrimp are done, remove them from the oven and arrange them on a serving platter.
-
Serve the roasted shrimp with the cocktail sauce on the side and garnish with lemon wedges.
-
Notes
-
If you prefer, you can also grill or pan-sear the shrimp instead of roasting them.
-
For extra flavor, you can toss the shrimp with some fresh chopped parsley before serving.
