- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cups peanut butter chips
- 15–20 mini peanut butter cups, halved
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread peanut butter cups evenly across the bottom of the baking dish.
- Sprinkle dry chocolate cake mix evenly over the peanut butter cups.
- Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake mix layer.
- Sprinkle peanut butter chips and optional chocolate chips on top.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the entire mixture, making sure to cover as much of the surface as possible.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the top is set and bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
- Do not mix the layers—just layer and bake for the best texture.
- Try using chopped full-sized peanut butter cups for a chunkier version.
