Pepperoni Chicken is a cheesy, hearty dish where juicy chicken breasts are topped with marinara, melty mozzarella, and crispy pepperoni, combining the best of pizza and comfort food in one easy meal.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 20–24 slices pepperoni
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place chicken in the baking dish and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until nearly cooked through.
- Remove from oven and spoon marinara sauce over each piece of chicken.
- Top each chicken breast with shredded mozzarella and 5–6 slices of pepperoni.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and return to oven.
- Bake for another 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly, and chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Garnish with chopped basil or parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- For a crispier top, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end of baking.
- Use turkey pepperoni for a lighter option.
- Serve with pasta, garlic bread, or a green salad for a complete meal.
