Description

Pizza Poppers are bite-sized snacks packed with cheesy, saucy, and savory pizza flavors, perfect for parties, appetizers, or game day treats.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into 2-inch squares.
  3. Add a small spoonful of pizza sauce, some cheese, and a few mini pepperoni slices to each square.
  4. Fold the corners of the dough up and pinch to seal into a ball shape.
  5. Place the poppers seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Brush each popper with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Use cooked sausage or veggies as alternative fillings.
  • Ensure edges are well-sealed to avoid cheese leakage.
  • Great for freezing before baking for a quick snack later.
