Description

This Quick and Easy Garlic Butter Chicken recipe features juicy, pan-seared chicken breasts coated in a flavorful garlic butter sauce. It’s perfect for busy weeknights and pairs well with vegetables, rice, or pasta.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning or dried parsley
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (optional)
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken on both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through (internal temp 165°F/74°C). Remove and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in Italian seasoning and lemon juice if using.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon garlic butter sauce over the top. Simmer for 1–2 minutes to reheat.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Cut chicken breasts in half lengthwise for quicker cooking.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, or a simple salad.
  • Add a splash of chicken broth or white wine for more sauce.
