This Quick and Easy Garlic Butter Chicken recipe features juicy, pan-seared chicken breasts coated in a flavorful garlic butter sauce. It’s perfect for busy weeknights and pairs well with vegetables, rice, or pasta.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning or dried parsley
- Juice of 1/2 lemon (optional)
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season chicken on both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through (internal temp 165°F/74°C). Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in Italian seasoning and lemon juice if using.
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon garlic butter sauce over the top. Simmer for 1–2 minutes to reheat.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Cut chicken breasts in half lengthwise for quicker cooking.
- Serve with mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, or a simple salad.
- Add a splash of chicken broth or white wine for more sauce.
