Description

A rich and moist banana bread loaded with creamy peanut butter and chunks of Reese’s, perfect for a sweet and nutty twist on the classic recipe.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter cups
  • Optional: 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Stir in the peanut butter, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped Reese’s and optional chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas for maximum flavor and sweetness.
  • You can substitute Reese’s with peanut butter chips or chopped chocolate if desired.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or refrigerate for longer shelf life.
