A rich and moist banana bread loaded with creamy peanut butter and chunks of Reese’s, perfect for a sweet and nutty twist on the classic recipe.

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter cups
- Optional: 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Stir in the peanut butter, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
- Fold in the chopped Reese’s and optional chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for maximum flavor and sweetness.
- You can substitute Reese’s with peanut butter chips or chopped chocolate if desired.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or refrigerate for longer shelf life.
