Rice Krispie Easter Nests are adorable, no-bake treats made with marshmallow cereal mixture shaped into nests and filled with candy eggs—perfect for Easter celebrations and fun with kids.

- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- Cooking spray or butter for greasing
- 1 cup shredded coconut (optional, for nest texture)
- Green food coloring (optional, for coloring coconut)
- Mini candy eggs (like Cadbury Mini Eggs or jelly beans)
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and quickly stir in Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
- Lightly grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or butter.
- Spoon mixture into muffin cups and press down in the center of each to create a nest shape. Let cool completely.
- If using coconut, mix it with a few drops of green food coloring in a zip-top bag and shake until evenly tinted.
- Once nests are cool, sprinkle green coconut into the center and top with mini candy eggs.
- Gently remove nests from the muffin tin and serve or store in an airtight container.
Notes
- Work quickly when shaping nests before the mixture cools and hardens.
- You can add a bit of vanilla extract to the marshmallow mixture for extra flavor.
- Use silicone muffin molds for easier removal.
