  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

For Serving:

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until shrimp turn pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

  3. Cook the Spaghetti: Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain pasta, reserving 1/2 cup of cooking water.
  4. Combine Everything: Return cooked shrimp to the skillet with the sauce. Add cooked spaghetti and parsley. Toss well to coat, adding reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
  5. Serve: Divide the shrimp and spaghetti among plates. Garnish with additional parsley and lemon wedges. Enjoy hot!

Notes

  • This dish pairs well with a crisp white wine such as Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc.
  • For a touch of freshness, you can add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice over the finished dish.
