For the Chicken:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
For the Broccoli Butter Sauce:
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Place in Slow Cooker: Arrange the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Prepare the Sauce: In a saucepan, melt the butter. Add broccoli, chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan, basil, salt, and pepper. Cook until broccoli is tender.
- Pour Sauce Over Chicken: Pour the broccoli butter sauce over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve: Serve the chicken with the broccoli butter sauce spooned over the top.
