Crescent Roll Dough:
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough sheet
Filling:
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam or preserves
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup diced fresh strawberries
Additional:
- 1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing)
- Extra powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a standard muffin tin.
- Roll Out Dough: On a floured surface, stretch out the crescent dough into a rectangle.
- Prepare Filling: Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over dough, top with jam and strawberries.
- Roll and Shape: Roll dough into a log, slice lengthwise, then roll each half into a spiral.
- Bake: Place spirals into muffin tin, brush with butter, and bake for 18–22 minutes until golden.
- Finish: Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
