- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar, for rolling
- 24 chocolate kisses, unwrapped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine strawberry cake mix, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until a soft dough forms.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls, then roll in powdered sugar until coated.
- Place on prepared baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until cookies are set but not browned.
- Remove from oven and immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
- Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Chill dough for 15–20 minutes if it’s too sticky to roll.
- Use different flavored kisses like white chocolate or strawberry for variation.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
