Description

Taco sliders are a fun and flavorful twist on traditional tacos, served in mini slider buns with seasoned beef, cheese, and your favorite toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced red onions
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water to the beef, stir well, and simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
  4. Slice the slider buns and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  5. Spoon the seasoned beef evenly onto the buns.
  6. Top with shredded cheese, then place the top buns over the meat.
  7. Bake sliders in the oven for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from oven and top with tomatoes, onions, lettuce, sour cream, and jalapeños if desired.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or plant-based meat for a different variation.
  • Use slider buns with sesame seeds for extra texture.
  • Add guacamole or salsa for extra flavor.
