Description

This Toasted Italian Sandwich recipe is a delightful combination of savory meats, tangy cheese, and zesty dressing all nestled between slices of crusty bread and toasted to perfection.


Ingredients

For the sandwich:

  • 4 slices Italian bread
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 slices salami
  • 4 slices ham
  • 4 slices pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup banana pepper rings

For the dressing:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
